Yesterday the wife and I went to the reception that my alma mater, the Cooper Union held for the completion of the Alumni Roof Terrace in the new (not so new anymore) Cooper Union building at 41 Cooper Square.
They were asking for donations a couple of years ago before they started construction of the building and for those who gave over a certain amount, they promised to have the donor's name enslabbed on the terrace somewhere. It was hook, line and sinker for me. With the promise of having my name carved in stone for all future generations of the world to see, I dropped a few G's and yesterday I was able to bask in all of its glory.

Yesterday was actually my first time really seeing the new building. While the outside can be an eye sore, I think the inside of the building is quite cool. Here's a picture of Lisa and me inside.
