The weekend before last, the wife and I with our friends Joan and Bobby went down to DC. It was a good trip. We saw most of the sites but like all of the times before that I have gone, there are always places that I wish I had more time to go see. Well at least this time I got to see the Jefferson Memorial.

We took the Metro from Arlington, where we were staying into DC. We then walked to the tidal basin where the Jefferson Memorial is situated. Then by foot we went to the Lincoln Memorial and then made out way onto Pennsylvania Avenue. A lot of walking but the weather was nice and being that out was Easter weekend, there were huge crowds everywhere.
